While bike racing is a physically enduring sport it is also a sport with history, tactics, team work and strategy. To truly enjoy watching the Tour De France it’s best to know at least a little about how it works. And, if you are trying to explain it all to a child it can become confusing and sometimes seem boring.
That is where Pop-up Tour De France by Paintbox press comes in. It’s informative, fun, but not child-like in text or animation. While it’s aimed at kids 9 and up most cycling enthusiasts would enjoy this on their coffee table.
There is history…
A map with a clear cover where your child can plot this years route with a sharpie….
An explanation of how the teams work….
An explanation of the stages…
And much more to keep you entertained throughout July.
Giveaway – If you would like to win one for your child (or yourself) leave a comment below about your favorite rider, stage or team in this years Le Tour. I will choose a winner on Sunday so that you can have the book to enjoy for this year’s tour!
